San Diego, CA - December 4, 2001 - A Holiday Special Bundle of ZyGoVideo(tm) Pro and Hip Flics 1.1 for OS/X was released today. ZyGoVideo looks great and runs smoothly at 28.8 kbps and 56 kbps. ZyGoVideo Pro provides a small and easily mastered set of encoding options, which help the user create video at a number of sizes and data rates useful for Internet sharing.

ZyGoVideo Pro is available as a QuickTime 5 Downloadable Component. QuickTime 5's Movie Player will automatically load the codec and begin playing the video on the receiver's computer. ZyGoVideo's Pro line is meant to achieve great looking video at low data rates with a minimum of settings so that the compression job is fast and easy to do.

ZyGoVideo Pro comes with a quick reference guide to "Making Good ZyGoVideo". That reference describes how the Pro version enables exact placement of the key frames. Key frames can be placed at every frame, an essential element in supporting QuickTime VR. The user is provided with a set of optional controls in a pop up dialog to control scene detection sensitivity, control over motion detection sensitivity, and a smoothing filter to soften blocking artifacts which invariably show up at low data rates..
