Vancouver, BC - May 17, 2000 - Totally Hip Software announces that it was presented with two prestigious awards at the 5th Annual Apple Design Awards for its

LiveStage Professional was the winner of the Most Innovative Product and runner up in the Best Apple Technology Adoption, claiming two out of only eight awards given

Product.

"We are extremely excited about this and the recognition we should get as a leading multimedia software developer", said Randall H. McCallum, CEO & President of
Totally Hip Software. "It validates that we are one of the premier multimedia software developers in the world. Our products are not just innovative, they are the leading
edge of a new wave of media delivery and interactivity on the Internet. The recognition this brings to our technology, products, company and QuickTime should be a big
boost to our marketing efforts."

For winning Totally Hip receives a top of the line Power Macintosh G4 and Apple Studio Display, trophy and the exclusive winners rights to use the winning entry logo to
market the product such as on packaging and web sites. For the runners-up prize Totally Hip receives a plaque as well as the right to use the runner-up logo to market
the product. Additionally the product and company will be featured in Apple's marketing associated with the winners of the Design Awards contest including a featured
story on Apple's web site that will be released soon.

"We are being recognized for having built a great technology that has already produced an amazing and award winning product in LiveStage Professional. We are
continuing to invest in and develop this technology to improve it for our customers and also create more products based on it such as our new product LiveSlideShow
that is based on the LiveStage Professional engine" said David B. Dicaire, Chief Operating Officer & General Manager of Totally Hip Software. "We're also thrilled with
the announcement at WWDC that there are over 50 million copies of QuickTime 4 on both Mac and Windows computers and that the Lord of the Rings movie trailer
created using LiveStage Professional has received an amazing 12 milllion downloads. The expansion of the QuickTime audience should result in a growing market for
QuickTime content and an increased market for our QuickTime authoring products."

Apple announced that more than 50 million copies of its QuickTime 4 player software have been distributed for Mac and Windows users worldwide, and gave developers
at the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) a sneak preview of the next version of QuickTime which will debut this summer.

In addition, Nielsen//NetRatings has named Apple's website, www.apple.com, the most popular destination for movie trailers on the web. Contributing to the success of
Apple.com's Quicktime-based movie trailer section, downloads for New Line Cinema's "The Lord of the Rings" preview, encoded exclusively in QuickTime, topped 12
million since its April 7 debut, making it one of the largest online entertainment events ever.

"I am extremely proud of our team, their talent and the loyalty and dedications they have shown. I also want to thank our wired media experts, developers, customers
and the QuickTime engineering team. We couldn't have done it without them." Said Randall H. McCallum, CEO & President.
