Vancouver, BC - January 9, 2001 - Totally Hip Software announces the release of HipFlics a new desktop digital video enhancing, compressing and processing tool.
For those new to digital video editing or seasoned professionals looking for a quick fix, HipFlics offers both functionality and simplicity inside one affordable application.
For novices HipFlics offers a simple interface and ease of use while the more advanced users can take further advantage of its professional features and customizable
settings.
HipFlics can be used as a standalone product or in conjunction with other popular digital video or web authoring products such as LiveStage Professional. Like the
award winning LiveStage Professional, HipFlics is a QuickTime based tool that makes use of the popular QuickTime movie format.

HipFlics allows users to easily prepare the digital video being created today for use on web sites, streaming over the Internet or sending around the world. Users can
easily crop, rotate, apply filters or effects, add watermarking and compress the video and audio to get it to a useable or refined state. HipFlics also includes features
such as multiple compression codec application, batch processing, both preset and customizable settings, settings memory, original movie retention and the added
value of a live before and after feature to enable previewing prior to exporting.
This new product enhances Totally Hip's current product line and is available simultaneously for both the Macintosh, including OS X, and Windows platforms. Totally Hip
is launching this product at the MacWorld Expo taking place in San Francisco from January 9 to 12, 2001.
A preview release demo is available from Totally Hip's web site and the product will be shipping in January. The suggested retail list price is US$199.95 and multi user
