Vancouver, BC - January 9, 2001 - Totally Hip Software announces the release of HipPics a new desktop digital image enhancing, compressing and processing tool.

For those new to digital image editing or professionals looking for a quick fix, HipPics offers both functionality and simplicity inside one affordable application.
HipPics offers a simple and intuitive interface, ease of use and the obvious advantage of its flexible compression capability and customizable settings.

HipPics is a companion product to LiveSlideShow and LiveStage Professional but it can also be used as a standalone product or in conjunction with other popular digital
image presentation and authoring products. HipPics is a QuickTime based tool that exports to the popular QuickTime image and JPEG formats.

rotate, apply filters or effects, add watermarking and compress the image or photo to get it to a useable or refined state. HipPics also includes features such as variable
compression codec selection, batch processing, both preset and customizable settings, settings memory, original image retention, variable export formats and the added
value of a live before and after feature with up to four different views to enable previewing prior to exporting.

This new product enhances Totally Hip's current product line and is available simultaneously for both the Macintosh, including OS X, and Windows platforms. Totally Hip
is launching this product at the MacWorld Expo taking place in San Francisco from January 9 to 12, 2001.
